By installing or using ChargeGuardian ("the Extension"), you agree to the Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.
ChargeGuardian is a browser extension that helps you verify payment methods before transactions are processed. It intercepts checkout flows, displays which payment method is about to be charged, and provides scam detection features. The Free version offers core protection. ChargeGuardian Pro is a paid upgrade that adds advanced features.
ChargeGuardian Free is provided under an open-source license. You may use, inspect, and modify the source code. ChargeGuardian Pro requires a valid license key for activation. Pro licenses are lifetime, per-user, and non-transferable.
ChargeGuardian does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal or financial data. All processing happens locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The Extension is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we strive to provide accurate payment interception and scam detection, we do not guarantee that ChargeGuardian will catch every fraudulent transaction or scam attempt. Users should always exercise their own judgment.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChargeGuardian and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Extension, including but not limited to financial losses, data loss, or security breaches.
ChargeGuardian Pro is sold as a lifetime license with a one-time payment. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@chargeguardian.io for refund inquiries.
